Cookery Classes: sicilia at home

Bens new project: Sicilia At Home involves both live and pre-recorded online cookery classes. Sicilia At Home will focus on accessible, cook at home dishes inspired by his love of the food of Sicily and the Mediterranean. Ben wants the classes to feel intimate and sociable, with lots of good conversations, a few drinks, and a chance to (virtually) get together at our tables to enjoy the occasion at the end. Over the coming months Sicily will be the focus as he leads up to the launch of his latest cook book Sicilia.

Sicilia At Home will support Food cycle an important and relevant charity Ben has been working with for years. The charity has a simple philosophy - that no one should go hungry. Find out more about Food Cycle on the Charity here or on their website by clicking here.

The online cookery event will focus, as always on Sicilian influenced comfort food and will be prepared and cooked real time by Ben. Februarys class will have a definite nod to Valentines with some delicious, indulgent dishes. You can cook along with Ben, partially prepare or watch in preparation for Valentines day so you area all ready. It’s up to you.

The class will commence at xxxx via zoom and will last around 1 hour 30 minutes for the cooking segment. A full ingredients list will be sent during the days leading uptown the event, along with the recipes and zoom invite the day before.
